She served on the board of the Massachusetts School Library Association as co-chair of the Professional Learning Committee for two years and was a co-organizer of Edcamp Boston for seven years. In 2017, she was the recipient of the MSLA Service Award. She is a fan of building readers, authentic technology integration, inquiry-based learning, creative play, meaningful professional development and, of course, libraries!
