Mrs. D'Elia has been a library teacher since she received a Masters in Library and Information Sciences in 2002. She served on the board of the Massachusetts School Library Association as co-chair of the Professional Learning Committee for two years and was a co-organizer of Edcamp Boston for seven years. In 2017, she was the recipient of the MSLA Service Award. In November of 2019, Mrs DElia was honored to travel to the United Arab Emirates to present at the Sharjah International Library Conference. She is a fan of building readers, authentic technology integration, inquiry-based learning, creative play, meaningful professional development and, of course, libraries!
